GIRL I was TIRED. And literally I’m like I’m way too young to be tired. Like I’m 31. Where is this fatigue and exhaustion coming from. For the past few months I’ve been unlearning and learning so much about my body. Idk about you but did you know coffee and energy drinks can disrupt hormones due to their high caffeine and sugar content. (Let me show my inner geek )Caffeine stimulates the adrenal glands, causing a spike in cortisol, the stress hormone. Over time, elevated cortisol can lead to imbalances in other hormones, including insulin and estrogen, contributing to issues like fatigue, mood swings, or menstrual irregularities. Energy drinks, often loaded with sugar and stimulants, can further disrupt insulin levels, leading to blood sugar spikes and crashes.
